Description: The opportunity to play, learn, and grow – this is the goal of The Toy Movement, Spin Master’s global initiative to spread joy to the world’s children. Every year, Spin Master continues its work in The Toy Movement, growing a global movement that delivers inspiration, fuels imagination, and brings happiness to children around the world. In 2018, a dedicated team of Spin Master employees and partner organizations travelled to Turkey to deliver 125,000 toys to displaced children. Visiting refugee camps along the Syrian border, the team met with thousands of children, spreading joy through the humble yet powerful gift of toys. As of 2016, 28 million children were living in forced displacement – this includes 12 million child refugees and child asylum seekers, and 16 million children living in internal displacement due to conflict and violence. These numbers do not include 7 million children internally displaced by natural disasters. The Toy Movement aims to show these children that they are not alone, that they are not forgotten.
